Behavior of people on the bus or the Subway

Hi classmates, How are you? Today I am going to write about behavior of people on the bus or subway. Why? Because, I have the habit to observer the people when I`m traveling to University or other places.  I know you are thinking that I’m psycho, but I think that together do this once in the life. This, is a general characterization, I know that are a lot people that other behavior, but this is a thing. Today I am thinking in this, obviously on the bus.

Well, I first am going to write about the behavior for hour of day or the day of week. In the morning, the people hate to together, there are shoves, quarrels, because the people are very near and nobody want that used square meter their. However always there somebody that say hello to the driver to bus or to cede the chair etc.  The Friday or Saturday in the night are the days funniest, because the people are more relaxed and happiness. The problems are the smell of alcohol or drugs and other substances and in certain occasions can to be dangerous.

In second, I am going to write about the character to go on the bus or on the metro, firs, the singer he is a fun character that asked money (coins)by sing, generally they sing two or three song, they can offered Cds or Dvds with songs their. Other characters are the sleepyhead, this characters that not important that no matter where, they sleep, even somebody do standing. The other characters are the woman or gentleman grumpy, they always are complaining about everything. There are a lot characters, but I don´t have more space for write.

My favorite photografy

The topic of today is a more sentimental that the others days, because going write of my favorite photography. This is of my family; my parents, my two brothers and me. We were in a camping in the shore of the Calafquén Lake, near of a village called Lican-Ray. The picture was made by my uncle, the brother of my father; he was with his family too. In the photograph is a tent that was our home by two or three weeks, after we leaved from Santiago to the south with a car and pickup.

This place is wonderful; there are lot native trees and a calm lake, mysterious paths, a beach, springboard (I know, because I visit this place after). And is near of Lican Ray a village that very popular in the summer.

I was a seven months (the baby on the baby carriage), Patricio, my older brother (the left) was thirteen years old, and Pablo (the boy) was a nine years old, and my mother and my father (when they were young). Was very typical that my father celebrated his birthday in the summer (February) and my brothers and me preparing his party, well today also do, but in Santiago because my brothers weren`t in my house and they don`t have vacations us.

To tell you the truth, I don`t remember the moment of this photography, but is my favorite because was all my family, and I remember my vacations of my childhood. Our life was simple, wake up, swim or row in the lake, to eat, we walk by the country or went to the village, and to sleep. However we really had a good time, because it is important to remember.

Hi classmates!!. Today I want to write about the polemic project of “Hidroaysén” (I wrote this post the last Friday, before the topic was in). This project pretends to install a five hydroelectric power station, two of this in the Baker River and the others three in the Pacua River. The project is the bigger and most important that is studying in the country. Also the five hydroelectric power stations, the project will built a high-tension transmission line from Aysén to Santiago for connected to SIC (interconnected central system). The total capacity of the plants would be of over 2,750 MW if they are built, the 21% of total demand in Chile.  The administration of this project is borne by Endesa (51% of the total trade actions and Colbún S.A (51% of the trade actions).

The project has been to criticize for the national and international environmental organizations because of impact in the wonderful environment where is going built the hydroelectric power stations and would lead to greatly increased electrical costs for Chilean consumers.

The most important argument that have defender of project that if the hydroelectric doesn`t built, isn`t necessary energy for the all country by 2020 year. However a recent informs of Roberto Román and Stephen Hall show that this argument is a myth, because the supposed need of energy isn’t true and that with hydroelectric and thermoelectric built, there is energy for many years.

The website I use most is www.scielo.org or Chilean website: www.scielo.cl. This site is an electronic library that allows the search of reports, journals, and scientific articles. Can be found from psychiatric and landscaping journals, and obviously, journals anthropological issues.

This site is a typical search, divided into magazines, reports and articles, each of these can be searched by author, title or subject. The other way is to get into Google Scholar (http://scholar.google. com) and search for your topic, there is always a scientific journal related to your topic that is in Scielo.

I can use this site regularly, when I have to work on a specific topic to find specific information and also has a bibliography sustainable. Especially when you have to do a theoretical framework or any topic of work.

I like this site because you find specific information easily and quickly, and items are easy to find, and is reliable information that an investigation is ideal. It is also a web site easy to use, almost like a Google search, type the subject or author search and immediately see a list of scientific papers in his country or the world.

Walking in Torres del Paine

In Chile there are lot places where you can do trekking: Torres Del Paine, Chiloé, Austral Road, San Pedro de Atacama, the volcanoes and lot others. This places are very interesting of to visit, but the place better know for tourist, is Torres del Paine National Park.

In this park, you can do many things, but the more challenging is walk for a week with your backpack in  wonderful landscapes, with a different animals, for example the Cóndor, Guanacos or Pudús, and obviously the impressive Towers and horns, the mountain of park.

The journey is very tiring, because you take your backpack with the necessary to survival: a tent, lots of caloric food, clothes, sleeping bag, but the experience is very comforting. You meet with many people from others countries, the contact with the nature, and the happiness released by the endorphin to liberate for de long walk.

My name is Natalia. I am 20 years old, really old. I study a in the Universidad de Chile. First I study other career. Now, I am study social anthropology in the Faculty of Social Sciences (in third year). I don´t know writer about my life and the things of the life.

The name of this blog was chose because it is the title of a book of Julio Cortázar, a writer like me, I really love him.
